Do Right – 2019-2020 School Theme

Do Right

Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right. – Proverbs 20:11

In a culture and society that rebels against authority and denies the absolute principles of right and wrong, it is important to have a place that teaches our children to do right. Friendship Christian Schools is such a place. Every year we choose a theme for the students and staff to live by, and this year’s theme is simply “Do Right.”

We find this principle in Proverbs 20:11:

“Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.”

Proverbs 20:11

In order to do right, we need to determine to do right. Bob Jones, Sr. used to say often, “Do right till the stars fall. Do right till the last call.” Doing right does not happen by accident, but it is a choice we make. The Bible also says in Proverbs 14:12: “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Right is not determined by the mind of man, but it is from the Righteous One. Friendship Christian Schools determines to “Do Right” by God’s Word and to train our students to obey its precepts. In the 2019-2020 school year let’s all choose to

Do Right.
