What was life like on Hawaiian sugar plantations during 1850-1950? What did their houses look like? How did they make their food and wash their clothes? Did they have to go to town for the dentist? The 4th grade just might find out the answers to these questions and learn even more on their field trip to the Hawaiian Plantation Village where they will get to see the plantation workers homes and experience some of what the life of a Hawaiian plantation worker might have been like.
